Some homeowners in Connecticut that are engaged in cleaning and renovations continue to confront insurance holdups after severe storms struck regions of this state one year past. Insurance companies do not cover tree removal, however only tree damage. “In a situation such as a tornado there is no accountability,” explains Gerard O’Sullivan, manager for consumer affairs at the Connecticut Insurance Department.
